Distributor Conferences are hard work!

After an excellent start to the new financial year Silverteam invited all the key distributors to
our offices in Great Yarmouth for our first 2 day Hitachi Distributor Conference. All distributors
got a chance to re-visit the current products, future developments from the Hitachi factories in
Japan and to meet each other in a more relaxed environment rather than brief discussions over
the phone.

As you can see there is always time for a bit of fun, and gentlemanly competition! We organised
a Grand Prix event, tyre performance was not an issue and all karts were able to run!

We started with some gentle practice runs and some couldn't help but wave and smile at the
camera while going flying past at 50mph. (At least I think that's a wave!)

Some even had a few spins to help keep things from getting too serious!

Then it did get serious, the heats and semi-finals were out of the way and with ten people
getting through to the final, no one was friends anymore!

The race was close and tension was high in the crowd of 6 people as the 10 karts battled
for the three podium positions.

As always there is only one winner and who would have guessed it would be our 2 week
work placement from school!
