OT1200
OT1200 fanless is an industrial PC with aluminum front panel and nichel-treated steel rear PC module. It's ideal for process control and supervisione applications, thanks to its very high performances given by Intel Celeron M ULV processors and to the integrated video controller, capable of 128 MB of memory. Extremely compact, it is available with 8.4", 10.4", 12.1" and 15" touch-screen LCD. For panel installation, its frontal protection is rated IP65.
On OT1200 front panel there's a USB 2.0 port, protected by a rubber cap; a smart solution that simplifies upgrade and maintenance operations. On front panel there are also 4 customizable keys, useful to recall the most used functions. A set of predefined key-labels is supplied, that can be replaced to those available as default. OT1200 uses Intel Celeron M ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) processors, whose key points are the high performances obtained with extra-low power consumption (5.5 W). Available core frequences are 600 MHz and 1 GHz. Processors are soldered on motherboard.
OT1200 is built around "All-In-One" ASEM 951 motherboard, developed using Intel Centrino Mobile Technology, with Intel Celeron M ULV 600 MHz and 1 GHz processors, Front Side Bus at 400MHz, SODIMM DDR2 RAM memory at 533 MHz. The Intel 915GM Express chipset integrates the video controller Graphics Media Accelerator 900, capable of 128 MB of memory and capable to support the most sophisticated graphical applications. Talking about mass storage devices, on motherboard there are a Serial-ATA controller for hard disk or SSD and one Parallel-ATA dedicated to Compact Flash. Motherboard integrates also the 18÷36 V/DC power supply (autoranging). Optionally an external, DIN-rail power supply can be ordered, for 220 V/AC --> 24 V/DC.
OT1200 comes with a complete set of communication interfaces: there are up to two serial ports, one of those multistandard (available also optoisolated), one PS/2 for keyboard/mouse with 'Y' cable, one analog VGA, five USB ports standard 2.0, two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports. Optionally OT1200 can have the parallel port and the wireless LAN. Furthermore there are four signalling LEDs for system failure, disk activity, watchdog and power/UPS.
OT1200 can have PC/104 plus or PCI expansion bus. The latter allows the installation of one half size add-on card and can be ordered with or without cooling fan, according to add-on power consumption; if add-on needs less than 3 W, it can be left fanless.
Add-on cards and hard disk drive positioning are always internal to the PC module (no external mechanical expansions are required).
On OT1200 a UPS module can be installed. It guarantees PC's operation in case of power lack for at least 15 minutes. Furthermore, thanks to a simple and user friendly utility available in Windows environment, its working mode can be scheduled, along with the automatic system shut-down.
