OT800 OT800 fanless links together openness, application flexibility and performances of PC-based platforms to the ease of use and unbeaten reliability of a operator panel. OT800 uses Transmeta Crusoe low power processors at 667 and 800 MHz, and can be ordered with 8.4, 12.1 and 15-inch touch-screen LCD. OT800 is for panel installation and its front panel, equipped with a USB port protected by a rubber cap, is rated IP65. OT800 uses Transmeta Crusoe low power processors with 667 and 800 MHz. Thanks to the very low power consumption, only 7W, they do not need cooling fans. OT800 is available with touch-screen LCDs of 8.4, 12.1 and 15 inches; front panel, on equal LCD size, has same dimensions of OT1000. Drill templates are totally compatible too. A 2.0 type USB interface, protected by a rubber cap (IP65 protected) is available on front panel. OT800 is built around the "All-In-One" ASEM 841 motherboard, where have been integrated all the PC features: there are one RS-232 serial port, one RS-232/422/485 serial port, one Ethernet 10/100 Mbps, 2 USBs 2.0, 1 PS/2 and 1 analog VGA. Furthermore, the motherboard integrates the 24V/DC power supply, the predisposition to UPS installation and a Compact Flash slot with external access. OT800 shows an excellent mechanical and electonic integration in a very compact PC module (maximum rear deepness is just 87 mm): internally OT800 can host the HDD or the SSD, a riser card for one half size PCI add-on (see picture) or a PC/104 plus espansion slot. OT800 can use 2.5-inch PATA SSD (Solid State Disk) in place of hard disk. SSD has several advantages with respect to HDD: it do not have moving parts, can work at a much wider temperature range and has much less problems with shock and vibrations. Its data transfer rate is the same of HDD. |
