RV500
RV500 is the product with which ASEM debuts on operator panels market. RV500 is built around a motherboard completely engineered by ASEM using a RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computer) platform, with an Intel PXA270 processor. RV500’s chassis, extremely compact, has been made using plastic resin, assures an IP65 protection on its front and is for VESA-75 installation. Optionally RV500 can be ordered with a standbase. LCD size is 8.4”, equipped with 4-wire resistive touch-screen. RV500 is available with Windows CE operating system.
The CPU used for RV500 is the Intel PXA270, based on XScale technology;
core frequency is 520 MHz, Front Side Bus @ 208 MHz and 66 KB cache. It
is soldered directly on ASEM motherboard.
RV500 comes with a stylus that makes easier the use of the touch-screen;
stylus is conveniently placed on RV500’s side.
Internally to the chassis, a USB port is available for extra-HW connection (e.g. Bluetooth).
RV500’s
motherboard, completely engineered by ASEM, is an example of excellent
components and functionality integration: includes the power supply section
@ 24 V/DC, a complete set of communication interfaces, the Compact Flash
slot at internal access; RV500 comes with 128 MB of RAM memory SDRAM soldered
on-board, 64 MB of Flash memory (soldered too) dedicated to boot-loader
and Win CE operating system. Compact Flash is used for application data.
RV500 must be installed to a VESA-75 attachment; optionally a plastic
standbase is available, with the same color of RV500.
On RV500 rear there are four USB 1.1 host type ports, one USB 1.1 device
type port, one Ethernet 10/100 Mbps, one serial RS-232 port.
