Training Courses

All our training courses are designed to cover every conceivable requirement of the customer. The training content is divided into three parts, a foundation/product introduction section, a product training section and then an open, customer specific, section. All our training courses include a theoretical and practical part and are held at Silverteam's own dedicated training facilities, the quality and standard of the courses and associated learning materials is unsurpassed.

The Foundation/Product Introduction Section is a theoretical part which explains the very basics of the products function, application and reason for existing. This helps us ascertain quickly what the customers level of knowledge is and sets the content and depth of the remaining course.

The Product Training Section is where we learn specifics of the products we offer, and includes a majority share of practical, hands on, training.

The Open, Customer Specific Section is the theoretical/practical part which is where we discuss specific applications the customer has or show existing applications and how they are created and designed.

We all know that training is important but often is not undertaken as training courses are seen as 75% of it is already known and of no use. That is why all our training courses are lead by one of our experienced site/support engineers as most of our customers are engineers themselves and this enables the customer to maximise the time spent away from their workplace. Customer's are assured of up to date information from a true "hands on" perspective. There are few, if any, control scenarios that Silverteam's engineers have not encountered before!

Courses are supported by professional course notes which have been designed to be easy to read, simple to understand and act both as a reinforcement for the course attended and as a quick reference source should an unfamiliar problem be encountered back at the customer's workplace.

Starting times of the training courses are also flexible and can either be 9am to 5pm or noon to noon. This helps to allow for travelling times to Silverteam's offices.

On-Site Training

Silverteam can also offer its customers on site training where required. On site training covers the same content and depth as our in-house training courses but with the obvious draw back of possible interuptions. The training is usually using the actual drives, PLCs, machines and programs the customers will encounter in their daily routines and as such is always relevant and useful.

Silverteam offer a vast selection of training courses and can either be about one product or a selection of products.
Please contact us if you require further information on these training courses.
